arc LockIn TERMS OF SERVICE

Effective date: October 27, 2026 arc LockIn is operated by Sharif Zafar, an individual based in Türkiye. "We", "us", and "our" refer to that operator. These Terms govern the arc LockIn mobile application, website at app.arclockin.com, and related services (together, the "Service"). References to the "App" mean the mobile application. Creating an account or using the Service means you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling; accepting these Terms does not replace separate permission or consent required by law. Contact: hello@arclockin.com 1. Eligibility and Your Account You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to consent to use the App under the laws where you live. If you are not legally able to agree to these Terms, a parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf. You may need an account to use some App features. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login information secure, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account. 2. General Wellness and Health Features The App may provide health, fitness, nutrition, hydration, sleep, body-measurement, recovery, stress, activity, menstrual-cycle, and performance-tracking features. It may read information from, and write information to, a compatible device health platform when you grant permission. It may also let you manually log nutrition, hydration, sleep, body measurements, and workouts where supported, and may calculate wellness scores, trends, targets, recommendations, estimated health age, or other insights from your information. The App is a general wellness and lifestyle tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Its content, calculations, scores, estimates, recommendations, and alerts are provided for informational purposes only and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Health information may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or affected by device sensors, connected apps or devices, user entries, missing records, and estimation methods. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information shown in the App. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you believe you may have a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately. You control the health permissions granted through your device settings. If you ask the App to save a health entry, the entry may become available to the device health platform and to other apps you have authorized. You are responsible for reviewing and managing those permissions and records. Smart Scan and nutrition estimates: Smart Scan sends selected meal photos to online image-hosting and AI providers to identify foods and estimate portions/nutrition. Food search uses a separate nutrition database. A photo cannot reliably establish ingredients, allergens, preparation methods, exact portions, or nutrient quantities. Review and correct results before saving. Do not rely on these estimates for allergy safety, insulin/medication dosing, diagnosis, or a medically prescribed diet. Scan availability and account-linked usage limits depend on the access and limits shown in the Service. Failed/interrupted requests may count toward an applicable limit. Only submit photos you have the right to use. Avoid sensitive background content and other people's personal information. Temporary hosting links may be accessible to anyone who has the link, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Capturing a photo does not itself start online analysis; beginning a scan sends selected images. Any separately required AI-sharing consent must be obtained before transfer. 3. Exercise, Focus, and Safety The App may include gym, Bend, and calisthenics workouts; diet challenges; cognitive exercises and brain puzzles; Flow audio; Lock In Time focus sessions; alarms; breathing/movement prompts; and performance or best-score tracking. These features are for general wellness, focus, and entertainment. They are not a measure of cognitive health or medical fitness. Use reasonable judgment and choose activities appropriate for your health, surroundings, and ability. Stop any physical activity if you feel pain, faintness, dizziness, shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms, and seek appropriate medical help. You are responsible for how you use reminders, alarms, focus sessions, exercises, and other App features. Do not use the App where distraction could create a risk, including while driving or operating machinery. Lock In Time: Lock In Time uses the permissions and system capabilities available on supported devices. During an active session it can return you to the focus screen when you open an app outside the chosen bag. It does not draw an overlay over other apps. Selected bag apps and supported default phone/camera apps can remain available. Feature availability and blocking capabilities vary by device, platform, and App version. Review allowed apps, duration, and early exit before starting. Turning early exit off removes the App's usual in-session exit control until the session finishes. You retain control of blocking permissions through your device settings. Notifications and battery-optimization exemption are optional where offered. Do not configure a session when you may need unrestricted device access. Phone/emergency access is intended to remain available but cannot be guaranteed on every device; use your device's emergency controls if needed. Blocking, countdowns, sound, and recovery can be affected by permissions, battery restrictions, system changes, force-stop, restarts, and other apps. Do not use Lock In Time as a security boundary, parental control, or guaranteed way to prevent device access. Statistics record elapsed session time; they do not prove attentiveness or productivity. Audio interruption behavior also depends on the system and other apps. 4. Acceptable Use You agree not to: - Use the App for illegal, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or misleading purposes. - Upload or submit content that you do not have the right to use. - Upload or submit content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, abusive, defamatory, or invasive of another person's privacy. - Attempt to access another user's account, content, or data. - Interfere with the App, its infrastructure, security measures, rate limits, or networks. - Introduce malware or attempt to bypass access controls. - Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or misuse the App except where applicable law permits it. - Use automated tools to overload, scrape, or abuse the App. - Use health features or information to make decisions about another person without their knowledge and lawful authorization. 5. Your Content You may create, upload, submit, import, save, or share content such as meal photos, images, stamps, quotes, selected audio files, screenshots, help requests, issue reports, and feature suggestions ("Your Content"). You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, transmit, and otherwise use Your Content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the App and to comply with law. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide and use it. When you use your device's sharing tools, the receiving person, app, or service controls the shared copy under its own terms and privacy practices. 6. App Content and Intellectual Property The App, including its software, designs, branding, text, graphics, sounds, and other content provided by us or our licensors, is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your own lawful, non-commercial purposes. The App may display third-party information, including food and nutrition information and links to research or educational resources. Such information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Third-party content is provided for convenience and does not mean that we endorse or guarantee it. 7. Subscriptions and Purchases Some features require paid access. Lock In Time currently requires Prime or Life, and Smart Scan requires the access and allowance shown in the Service. "Life" is a plan name; its duration and renewal terms are those shown at checkout, not a promise of lifetime access. Prices, currency, billing periods, trial terms, taxes where applicable, and included features are shown before purchase. App-store purchases are billed/managed by Apple or Google under that store's terms. Website subscriptions currently use RevenueCat and Paddle checkout and are managed through the billing provider's portal or receipt link. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until canceled according to the applicable provider's instructions and cancellation deadline. Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, canceling stops future renewal rather than refunding a current paid period. Refunds and statutory withdrawal/cancellation rights depend on the purchase channel, provider rules, and applicable law. See the website Refund Policy for web purchases; store purchases use the relevant store's refund process. These Terms do not remove mandatory refund or consumer rights. Deleting the App or your arc LockIn account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel through the store or web billing provider that manages your purchase. We may change prices or the features included in free or paid plans as allowed by applicable law and store rules. 8. Privacy and Device Permissions Our Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, collected, used, stored, shared, and deleted. The App will request device permissions for particular features, such as health records, camera/photos, notifications, Accessibility, optional battery settings, and tracking identifiers where applicable. You may deny or revoke permissions, but the related feature may not work. Supported gender/main-goal choices and workout/diet progress are saved locally and synchronized with your account. Local-only settings, focus history, bags, game scores, and unsynchronized changes may not be restored after reinstalling or switching devices. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete cloud records. Synchronization depends on connection and service availability; it does not guarantee that every local preference or record is backed up. 9. Third-Party Platforms and Services The App relies on third-party platforms and service providers for functions such as account authentication, cloud hosting and storage, abuse prevention, subscription management, web payments, app distribution, food information, temporary image hosting, AI food analysis, analytics/advertising measurement, communications, and device operating-system features. Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control third-party platforms, external websites, connected apps or devices, or their availability. Their applicable terms also govern your use. This does not exclude our own obligations regarding providers we select or personal data we disclose to them. 10. Availability and Changes We may update, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue all or part of the App at any time. We may add or remove features, correct errors, change compatibility requirements, or change how features work. We do not guarantee that the App, health integrations, external information, reminders, alarms, or notifications will always be available, accurate, timely, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Do not rely on the App as your only method for time-sensitive, safety-critical, or medical reminders. 11. Account Deletion You may delete your account in the App: Settings > Account management > Delete Account. You may also request help by emailing hello@arclockin.com from the email address connected to your account with the subject line "arc LockIn Account Deletion Request". Account deletion is permanent and deleted account data may not be recoverable. Deleting your account does not automatically delete records stored in your device health platform, copies you shared with others, data held by third parties under their own lawful retention rules, or all data stored locally on your device. Review the Privacy Policy for details. Some information may be retained where required or permitted for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcing these Terms. 12. Suspension and Termination We may suspend or terminate access to the App if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or harm, abused the App, or if suspension or termination is required by law. You may stop using the App at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will survive, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and disputes. 13. Disclaimers TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT HEALTH OR FITNESS INFORMATION, SCORES, CALCULATIONS, RECOMMENDATIONS, FOOD INFORMATION, REMINDERS, NOTIFICATIONS, OR THIRD-PARTY DATA WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you. 14. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent allowed by law, arc LockIn and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, personal decisions made in reliance on App information, or failures of connected devices or third-party platforms. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use the App in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or 100 USD. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. 15. Indemnity To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless arc LockIn from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from Your Content, your unlawful or unauthorized use of the App, or your material violation of these Terms or another person's rights. 16. Governing Law and Disputes These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, subject to mandatory protections and rights under the laws of your country of residence. This choice does not require a consumer claim in a foreign court where local law gives you the right to use local courts or another mandatory consumer forum. Contact hello@arclockin.com to try to resolve a dispute informally. This does not delay urgent relief, statutory complaints, filing deadlines, or mandatory consumer rights. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled in the courts or other forum required or permitted by applicable law. 17. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide notice in the App or through other reasonable means. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent. Otherwise, continued use of the App after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them. 18.
